On Friday, March 18 The Fashion Group International(R), Philadelphia hosted an event at the Philadelphia Museum of Art to celebrate the Roberto Capucci: Art Into Fashion Exhibit, (March 16 - June 5, 2011).  Guests enjoyed a reception on the 2nd floor balcony of the museum with the Art After 5 jazz music in the background.

The group then toured the exhibit featuring over 80 works showcasing Capucci’s innovative silhouettes and masterful use of form, color, and materials.  This exhibition of Italian fashion designer and artist Roberto Capucci (born 1930) is the first retrospective of his work in the United States.  It is not to be missed; the designs are stunning!!  Truly, it is art into fashion.
