Regional Director – Stephanie Ambuehl-Simpson
Stephanie Ambuehl-Simpson has been a member of Fashion Group International for over 10 years. As in active member of the Chicago Chapter, she was eager to become part of the group in Philadelphia when she moved 2 years ago. She has served on the Philadelphia Board since moving and has enjoyed meeting all of the members and learning more about the dynamics of Philadelphia's Fashion Industry.
She earned a degree in Fashion Design & Merchandising, before spending 8 years at the Merchandise Mart in Chicago as the Marketing Director for the nation's largest wholesale bridal tradeshow - The National Bridal Market Chicago and launching New York International Bridal Week in Manhattan. After relocating to Philadelphia for her husband's career, she took an event planning role with a healthcare company, EmCare, where she currently coordinates dinners across the country for physicians.
– Elizabeth Hanson
Elizabeth Hanson is a marketing consultant and principal at E. Hanson Unlimited. Her projects are fashion related and her clients include educational institutions, professional organizations and an architectural firm. Additionally, she volunteers as a stylist and community outreach speaker for Wings for Success, an agency that brings hope and empowerment to women challenged with securing employment and sustainable income.
She is a skilled professional with extensive experience in advertising, marketing and promotion. She has successfully managed marketing and recruitment for four institutions of higher education and an international corporation and received awards of distinction in advertising and writing.
Secretary – Cathy Coho
Cathy Coho is a textile conservator specializing in historic upholstery, quilts, and costumes. She has lived in Philadelphia for 15 years and had worked for the Philadelphia Museum of Art as well as other museums and institutions in the area. She completed her graduate studies in historic textiles at the University of Rhode
Island following an undergraduate degree in fashion design at Michigan State University.
Cathy lives with her family in the Mt. Airy neighborhood of Philadelphia where she has accepted her role as soccer mom.
Membership Co-Chair – Laraine Colden
Laraine Colden is the owner and director of Main Line Models and Talent, which operates outside of Philadelphia in Media, PA. From an early age she has worked in the fashion industry as a model in both Philadelphia and New York. From there, she acted as the agency director for 15 years before eventually taking ownership.
Laraine is the current president of Prima Fashion group and has been an active member of Fashion Group International for 6 years having served on the board of directors and as the membership chair.
Membership Co-Chair – Colleen Moretz
Colleen Moretz started her career as a fashion designer and owner of Colleen's Couture. Her first design contract was with the DuPont Company, winning the contract for the job over Betsey Johnson. Colleen created an exclusive line of bridal gowns for an upscale bridal salon that were featured at their bi-annual Bridal Fair. Her fashion designs have been featured in exhibits at the ITAA Annual Conference, Costume Society of America Annual Conference, UD@Crane in Philadelphia, Mahady Gallery, Indianapolis Museum of Art, and the Goldstein Museum of Design, winning the Dean's Scholar Award.
Colleen has a BS in Fashion Design and an MFA in Visual Arts. She currently teaches Fashion Design at Immaculata Universtiy, Moore College of Art and Design and the the University of Delaware.

Janice Lewis has been a member of Fashion Group International for almost 30 years. She has served on the board most recently as Treasurer and in the past has coordinated Career Days and other events such as our Red Carpet Scholarship event for fashion students.
As chair of Moore College of Art and Design's fashion design department, she has increased enrollment and introduced many innovative projects for the fashion students such as our annual Jump/Start fashion show every fall. She has been instrumental in continuing the department's critic program, where industry professionals participate in all major projects at all levels of the curriculum.
Janice is also a member of the board of the Philadelphia Fashion Incubator where she serves as secretary. Most recently she has produced the events for our Speaker Series, holding them at Moore College of Art and Design.
Fashion Forum Coordinator
– Sarah Rodowicz
Sarah Rodowicz has been involved with The Fashion Group International for the past 15 years, working at the Headquarters office in New York on the gala event Night of Stars, the Emerging Designer Event, Rising Star, and many other outstanding business and networking programs. She has been involved in Philadelphia as Regional Director, served on the Board as Programming Chair and as head of the Nominating Committee.
In addition, Sarah worked for Bloomingdale’s as the Public Relations, Special Events and Community Outreach Manager for the Philadelphia stores. Currently, Sarah has taken on the role of Philadelphia Fashion Forum Coordinator, an initiative sparked by discussion at an FGI event, with the goal to organize a shared Fashion Calendar for Philadelphia and to bring the Fashion Community together.
Nominating Chair – Beth Dincuff Charleston (Not a Board Position)
Beth Dincuff Charleston is an independent fashion curator, teaching Fashion History and Cultures within the School of Fashion at Parsons. Prior to teaching, she served as Research Associate in Collections at The Costume Institute, The Metropolitan Museum of Art.
She has spent time in the fashion industry, most notably as the manager of the Calvin Klein Archives, where she worked directly with Mr. Klein and the company’s creative directors to create a digital image database to facilitate inspirational research, as well as to record Calvin Klein’s design legacy. She frequently comments on the relationship between fashion history and current trends in media outlets such as The Wall Street Journal, Newsweek and CBS Morning News. For the past seven years she has consulted on matters of heritage integration for emerging fashion weeks with extensive experience in the Caribbean and Eastern Europe.
